Koopa Taiji is an arcade ball-throwing game based on Super Mario World released in Japan by Banpresto in 1993. The machine features art from Super Mario World on a background resembling the game's Castles, as well as a physical statue of Bowser.

Gameplay[edit]

Players are tasked with hitting Bowser with balls as he moves back and forth. Bowser needs to be hit directly in the face to score a point, and his mouth opens upon landing a successful hit. The game is seemingly score based, as a score counter can be seen on the top left.
