Crash Course is one of the microgames in Dr. Crygor's High Tech level in WarioWare: Get It Together! Its name is based on "crash course", a brief and intense educational course.
Gameplay[edit]
The object of this microgame is to demolish a building. This is done by either swinging a wrecking ball and letting it smash into the house, or directly attacking it. When demolished, the building reveals a bear lying on its side, crouching while staring at a sapling, sleeping in bed, or sitting on the toilet.
Using only indirect attacks, Mona, Penny, and Pyoro can clear all three levels without having to swing the wrecking ball.[1]
- Level 1: The player must demolish a run-down shack.
- Level 2: The player must demolish a regular house.
- Level 3: The player must demolish a skyscraper.
If two players are utilized for this microgame, the house may appear on the right side while the wrecking ball is on the left side of the screen. The player that last touched the wrecking ball before the building is demolished receives an effort point or, in the case of Rising Star, a star.
Suitability[edit]
Good Fit | ||
---|---|---|
Bad Fit |
- Penny can spray a constant stream of water from her Jet Tank One to quickly demolish the building without the wrecking ball.
- Orbulon can simply grab the wrecking ball and wreck the building immediately without swinging it.
- Pyoro can use his tongue to push the wrecking ball to wreck the building a bit faster.
- Young Cricket, 9-Volt, Mike and Master Mantis are somewhat unsuitable due to their inability to attack horizontally. Additionally, Young Cricket, Mike and Master Mantis' verticle attacks are weak in swinging the wrecking ball, and 9-Volt must time his attacks on the wrecking ball due to his constant movement.
- Kat & Ana are somewhat unsuitable due to their constant jumping can prevent them from swinging the wrecking ball.
- Mona and her boomerang have significant trouble moving the wrecking ball without precision, and heavy mashing is required to demolish the building by herself.
