Player Conveyor is a Free-for-All minigame featured in Mario Party 9.
Introduction
The camera shows a complete view of the room, then focuses on the conveyor belt field.
Gameplay
Players must ride conveyor belts to reach the center. Players cannot get off a conveyor belt until they reach its end. Warp Pipes send players to the opposite ones, and ! squares launch players outside the conveyor area. Every conveyor belt is rectangular and a different color based on its length. There are usually several stationary metal squares in the conveyor area. The first player to reach the center wins.
The minigame has a two-minute time limit, but the timer does not appear until one minute has elapsed. Once it does, the correct path to the finish lights up for all players. If the time runs out, any remaining players who did not reach the center lose the minigame and receive last place. If nobody reaches the center before the time runs out, all the players receive last place.
On rare occasions, it is possible for every player to get stuck and be unable to progress until the timer runs out.[1]
Ending
When a player reaches the center, that player sparkles briefly and strikes a victory pose.
