The Tornado is a plane owned by Sonic that appears throughout the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. This plane makes one appearances within the Super Mario franchise, and that being in the Tokyo Sky Flight minigame from the Story Mode or in the Game Room. During this minigame, Mario drives the Tornado while Sonic stands on the area at the front. The Tornado can shoot out bullets, and it can also twirl to destroy enemies.
