Mario Circuit 4 is the fifth and last course of the Star Cup in Super Mario Kart. It was subsequently reused in Mario Kart: Super Circuit as the third track of the Extra Star Cup. It is a tarmac circuit set in a grassland. This is the first of two Mario Circuits from the series in the Star Cup; the second is the DS version.
Course layout
The longest of the Mario Circuits, it is a straightforward course of normal road, with pipes and oil slicks as the only hazards. Similar to Mario Circuit 3, there is a shortcut at the end of the track. The gap in the crash barrier can be used to drive right through, best done with a mushroom or a star. Feathers are disabled for this track to avoid jumping over the crash barriers and thus saving a lot of time. This course contains the least amount of ? Panels, with ten.
Mario Kart: Super Circuit
Mario Circuit 4 reappeared in Mario Kart: Super Circuit, and is the third track of the Extra Star Cup. It uses the background from Peach Circuit. The pipe and oil slick hazards were removed from the track and an item box can be found next to the shortcut.
