Karate Kong is an elderly member of the Kong boss group and the sixth boss in Donkey Kong Jungle Beat. As his name suggests, Karate Kong is skilled with the ancient art of karate.

Karate Kong is the ruler of the Pineapple Kingdom, and Donkey Kong fights him on a log drifting across the river as a raft. Despite his old age, Karate Kong is still a skilled fighter, and is capable of performing powerful flying kicks and karate chops. Donkey Kong eventually manages to defeat Karate Kong.

Karate Kong and the other Kong bosses later appear at the end of game ceremony, in celebration of Donkey Kong's victory over the Ghastly King.

Karate Kong makes a cameo appearance in Super Smash Bros. Brawl as a sticker. The sticker raises the resistance to regular attacks (such as punches and kicks) by 25, and can only be used by Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong. In addition, he also appears as a Spirit in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
