- This article is about the collectibles in Donkey Kong Jungle Beat. For the earlier stage of growth of the flowers from Donkey Kong 3, see Flower (Donkey Kong 3).
Blooms[1] appear in Donkey Kong Jungle Beat as items. After Donkey Kong claps near a Bloom Fairy, it travels, leaving a trail of blooms behind. There are also Bloom Pods, which scatter blooms around themselves. Blooms disappear upon hitting the ground. By collecting 100 Blooms, Donkey Kong obtains the same number of Beats, or an extra life in the New Play Control! version. Blooms are in every level except boss fights and the final levels of Cactus King and Ghastly King.
