Jungle Japes (stage)
Jungle Japes is a stage that appears in Super Smash Bros. Melee, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS. It is set on a river, with three ledges made of wood on which players fight. There is a large platform found in the center. This platform has another smaller platform above it, which players are able to jump on. There are also two smaller platforms on both sides, but because they are higher up, and because they are separated by the rapid water current, they are dangerous to jump on. Klap Traps occasionally jump up to knock players into the river. The music of the stage is the main level music from Donkey Kong Country. On the main platform, there is a cabin in the background, and the player can see Cranky Kong's silhouette walking back and forth through a window.
The Final Destination form of the stage seen in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS takes place on just the main platform with the cabin, which has been extended. Although the river can still be found under the platform, it does not impact the battle.

Trivia
- In both the Super Smash Bros. series and Donkey Kong 64, the music played is a remix of the music in the levels Jungle Hijinxs, Ropey Rampage, Barrel Cannon Canyon, and Orang-utan Gang of Donkey Kong Country. Excepted in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS where the original Melee remix is replaced by the Congo Jungle theme from the first Super Smash Bros for unknown reason, and is the first return stage to not have his original theme.
- Jungle Japes is one of four stages so far to appear in three Super Smash Bros. games, the others being Brinstar, Corneria and Onett.
