This glitch can be done in Iggy's Volcanic Castle, when the player fights Iggy Koopa, when he is on the top roof, once he falls off it, Mario must immediately jump on him, and he will then go into his shell, but another one appears and will be faced sideways.

This is recommended to do in Walking Piranha Plants! if Nabbit is there. The player must start with a Star and chase him to a pit. The player has to grab him then fall. On the screen, it will say "Nabbit got away..." even though he didn't. When the player comes back to Rock-Candy Mines, Nabbit is still ready.

If you go into a pipe right at the moment when the timer reaches zero, when you come out of the pipe, instead of dying, the timer will freeze and you can play the level as long as you want.
