The two different colored Beezos that debuted in ‘’Super Mario Advance’’.

Beezos are a sub-species of Shy Guys that first appeared in Super Mario Bros. 2. This sub-species appear to use tridents as weapons. They also have wings on their back which allow them to fly.

The Beezos attack by charging towards Mario or [[Luigi|one] of his friends. They normally appear in packs. There is an seemingly infinite number of Beezos and thus, they won't dissapear until the player leave the portion of the level they appear in.

There is two ways to defeat a Beezo. The players can use the Vegetables or other objects and throw it to one of them. Another method is to jump on one of them, pick him up and throw him.

Beezos reappears in Super Mario Advance, in which they act pretty much act identica;. During gameplay, if the player defeats a single Beezo, the player acquires 4000 points total.

A similar species called a Shy Away appears in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars.
