Jelly Ultra
A Jelly Ultra is the most valuable type of Mushroom in the Paper Mario series. The only possible way to obtain one is to mix a Jammin' Jelly with an Ultra Shroom with Zess T.'s or Tayce T.'s cooking ability. If the player has used all of the Jammin' Jellies and Ultra Shrooms that are hidden in the game, this item is very expensive to make. Available from Charlieton for 120 coins each, or in the Deepdown Depot for 200 coins each, both ingredients are costly to buy.
Jelly Ultras restore fifty HP and fifty FP. This is a good item to have if either Mario or his partners can not use the Double Dip or Triple Dip Badges. Other than that, it does the same thing as one Ultra Shroom and one Jammin' Jelly, just in one turn, rather than two, saving the player some time to attack.
If the player were to sell a Jelly Ultra, he/she would receive a total of 150 coins for it, which would be beneficial if the player is short on money. If the player has managed to make a total of 10 of them, then he/she would receive 1500 Coins, however, the maximum number of coins the player can receive is 999. So therefore, it would be wise to sell only 6 of them and keep the other four (giving the player a total of 900 coins).
- However, it would take a lot of time to get the ingredients and would take a lot of money, but would be worth it if the player manages to get the money. For 10 Jelly Ultras, it would take a total of 4000 coins to get all the ingredients, plus the player would have to store some of the items, as if one does not have the Strange Sack, he/she would only be able to carry 5 Ultra Shrooms and 5 Jammin' Jellys. It would be worth it, however as if all were to be used, then a total of 500 hp can be healed and a total of 500 fp can be healed.
