<< Directory of levels >>

Mummy-Me Maze Forever is the fifteenth level of the Bonus Episode in Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker and its Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS ports of the same name, and the final level of the game excluding the Special Episode in the Nintendo Switch port. To unlock this level, the player must have collected all 192 (204 in the Switch and 3DS versions) Super Gems and have completed all 78 bonus objectives. Several Mummy-Me chase Captain Toad throughout the level. The collectible at the end of the level is a crown, which Captain Toad and Toadette wear permanently after completing the level.

Layout

Mario, as seen on a poster in Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker
A rare Mario poster can be found in the fiftieth and final room.

In this level, Captain Toad must navigate through a series of randomly generated mazes and locate the Warp Box at the end of each one, which leads to the next room. The level is broken into 50 rooms, with the floors getting more complex as the level progresses. The color scheme of the rooms will change and the music will add more instruments to reflect this. The objects randomized in each maze include Rock Blocks, coins, and enemies, and will occasionally include a powerup such as a Super Mushroom or a Super Pickax. Rooms 10, 20, and 35 are resting points which feature a ring of Pluck Patches, one of which contains a Super Mushroom, and another of which contains a Gold Mushroom. In the middle of the ring is a Super Pickax. Level 50 is a room where the Toad Brigade and Toadette wait for Captain Toad atop a mountain of Gold Coins, as well as the crown which ends the level once collected. Some Pluck Patches spell out "THANK YOU!!", and some yield a Gold Mushroom. There is a rare Mario poster on the wall.

Every room in the maze has plenty of coins available (usually over 200), so it is possible to max out the coin counter (9999).

The level in the 3DS version has fewer coins, which explains the lower coin target in the bonus objective.
