Smash Cards were a series of e-cards created in Adobe Flash made to promote the release of Super Smash Bros. A total of seven were made, three each involving a different fighter of the Super Mario franchise: Mario, Donkey Kong, and Yoshi, respectively.

Usage

Each Smash Card begins with a notification that the viewer has received a Smash Card, followed by one of seven fighters saying "Strange things are afoot in the world of Nintendo! Join the battle at www.smashbros.com", Each of the Smash Cards have a short, comical animation focused on a particular fighter.

Plotlines

The Link and Fox Smash Cards have no existing archives, so their contents are unknown. All plotlines have at least one character from the Super Mario franchise.
