Shining Falls Special Triple Threat Deluge is a course in Super Mario Bros. Wonder. It is found in the Special World and is unlocked after revisiting Royal Seed Mansion in Shining Falls. This course primarily features a Lakitu trio that constantly toss Spike Balls at the players from the background. Completion of this course unlocks The Semifinal Test Piranha Plant Reprise. This course has a difficulty of five stars, and it houses two Wonder Seeds.

Layout

The players start at an area where there is solid ground. After progressing a little bit, a Lakitu trio appears in the background and constantly throw Spike Balls into the foreground to attack the players during the entire course. The first part of the course is reminiscent of World 1-1 and World 1-2 from Super Mario Bros. due to the block, pipe and Goomba placements and the platforms moving up and down with a Red Koopa Troopa on solid ground in between them. After the moving platforms is the Wonder Flower, which causes the players to walk on the background walls.

The path ahead consists entirely of background walls for the players to travel on. Not far into the Wonder Effect there are two small bumpers that knock away anything that touches them, as well as a bouncy block that rotates counterclockwise between the bumpers. There is then a wall of Gold Blocks that can only be destroyed by the Spike Balls thrown by the Lakitu trio. Past the Gold Block wall are more bumpers and another bouncy block along the wall, with the path leading underneath solid ground. The next area has a moving platform above the wall that the players can use as cover. Another Gold Block Walls is here and also must be destroyed to allow for more progress. There is then more solid ground above the wall, albeit with gaps in between. Two Fire Bars rotating clockwise are found here as well, with the first having two rows of fireballs while the second has three. There is then another Gold Wall that must be destroyed, followed by another Fire Far that quickly rotates clockwise and has only one row of fireballs. Beyond the third Fire Bar are three sets of solid moving blocks that move up and down, potentially crushing the players. The third set of blocks are more wider than the previous two. The Wonder Seed is then found past these blocks as well as one final wall of Gold Blocks. Obtaining it will end the Wonder Effect and dispose of the Lakitu trio. The Goal Pole is found right afterwards, with another bouncy block rotating clockwise that the players can use to reach the top.

After collecting the first Wonder Seed, the player can backtrack by jumping on the platforms and bumpers, including the moving platforms that were previously used to avoid the Spike Balls thrown by the Lakitu trio. The player will eventually reach a tiny pipe platform where three Hidden Blocks containing 1-Up Mushrooms can be found above it.
