Peach Circuit is the first course of the Mushroom Cup in Mario Kart: Super Circuit and the third course of the Shell Cup in Mario Kart DS. Peach's Castle prominently appears in the background of this course. This track shares its music with Mario Circuit and Luigi Circuit.
Course layout
The course is relatively short with very few obstacles. However, it contains a plenty of curves suited to use drifting. The course has two sets of Item Boxes and a lot of coins scattered on the road. Following the coins pattern found in the curves, the user can employ drifting to run over them and take them all in a row.
Mario Kart DS
Peach Circuit reappears in Mario Kart DS as the third race of the Shell Cup. The course has not changed a lot from its original appearance. However, like other GBA courses seen in the game, it shows an enhanced graphical look. Also, Peach's Castle in the background is mirrored in the 50cc, 100cc, and 150cc engine classes; but faces in the same way like in the original appearance in the 150cc Mirror engine class. Mission 1-2 is carried out on this circuit. Peach must collect 15 coins in a section of the track in 30 seconds. It used to be available on Wi-Fi in VS mode. When the player crosses the finish line to start another lap, Lakitu is shown on the right side of the player, holding the lap count signs.
