Ghost (Wario Land II boss)

Ghost grabbed Captain Syrup.

Ghost is the fifth and final boss that appears in Wario Land II in the last segment (or the 5th level) of the chapter Uncanny Mansion in Chapter 5's 5th level called The Final Battle!!. If Wario enters Ghost's room, it appears that Ghost snatched Captain Syrup and locked her in a Secret Room. When Ghost returns, he looks around, and the battle begins. It takes 4 hits to defeat this boss.

Battle

The Ghost's method of attack is that he recedes and then drops himself from above, trying to grab Wario. Wario can hit him with a Dash Attack if he misses. Then, Ghost tries to swoop down to capture Wario, and must be fast and hit him with another Dash Attack. When Ghost is hit again, he will merely use one of his two moves to try and grab Wario. When Wario attacks him for the third time, Ghost turns red and attacks again. When Wario hits Ghost for the 4th time, Ghost will be defeated and Wario recovers his treasure.

Similarities

Ghost appears to have similarities with spiders and bats with all 3 of them seen as creepy creatures. Also, when Ghost snatches Wario, he'll place him in a room above the battlefield. Wario must then make his way back to his room to continue battling Ghost.
