Uhmm... Why is this Enemy in the Black Sugar Pirates category? He abducts Captain Syrup and is clearly none of her followers. Same goes for the King Bubble dude.

Real name?[edit]

Is ghost offical? Wario games are known to have odd boss names. Mechayoshi (talk)

The level he appears in is called "Capture the ghost!" in the English version. The names Giant Snake, Giant Bee and Cave Master (they aren't capitalised in the game) are also taken from those instructions (e.g. "Defeat the giant snake!"). Whether those names are intended to be the official names of the enemies is up to interpretation... --Grandy02 13:07, 9 November 2010 (UTC)
I beleive the real name is "Shiro Majin" meaning "White Demon". --Tailikku1 (talk) 10:32, 27 January 2015 (EST)

Generic[edit]

I think this title is a generic descriptor, as the in-game text is just "Capture the ghost!" The Japanese name is proper and official, so should we use that instead? Scrooge200 (talk) PMCS Mustard Cafe Sign.png 18:28, August 5, 2020 (EDT)

There are actually a lot of other Wario Land II and Wario Land 3 enemies that are just referred with lowercase, so this may have to be a broader discussion. For what it's worth, "Ghost" was one of the official names in NoA's email response, but it's not known if this was referring to the enemy or the boss ("Spear guy" was believed to refer to Pirate Goom at the time, but it turned out to be the giant spear man). Restarting this discussion to see if we can get more consensus. According to the results of my recent proposal (and I forgot about Chūta), the "ghost" boss keeps its name. The issue is with the "ghost" enemy. Subjects that aren't mentioned in-game or in the email were changed to Japanese names. This includes the bat and the eel, which are referred to generically in Nintendo Power and the official website. So it comes down to whether or not we think the email was referring to the "ghost" boss or enemy. If it's determined to refer to the boss, then the enemy will be the "Yūrei" article, and "Ghost (Wario Land II)" will be this article's new title. For the record, I do think the email was referring to the enemy, since no major boss character is listed there besides the giant spear man joke boss, but I'm curious to see if anyone has other thoughts on the matter.
