The map of Toad's Midway Madness.

Toad's Midway Madness was an amusement park board hosted by Toad in Mario Party 4. He built it because he loves amusement parks, and wanted his friends to have fun in it. Here, Toads were everywhere, and were put in charge of the games and shops (the one hosting wore stripe pants and a bow tie).

The main attractions here was the roller coaster, and the tea cup rides. Players were allowed to go across the coaster tracks, but stepping on the Happening Spaces on the tracks caused the rocket kart to chase them down to the left or right sides of the board (depending on where the kart was at the time). Players could also ride the roller coaster for five coins to the other side. Riding the roller coaster gave the player a chance to get some coins on the way, and chase down other players on the tracks. The tea cup rides were the main way of getting around. Every time a player went on them, they were taken to the direction that the arrow was pointing, then the direction changed. Changing the direction was also caused by landing on the ? Space near the ride.

The Item Mini-Game of the board involved a merry-go-round. Players had to stop their horse they were riding on, then wait for the pictures of the 4 items to stop. The player won the item whose picture was facing them. The Coin Mini-Game involved a rocket ship ride. Players picked one of three rocket ships, which took them to one of the coin amounts at the top. They players got the amount of coins that they landed to.

In Story Mode, if the player beat his/her opponents on the board, Toad challenged him/her to a Mini-Game called Bowser Bop in order to win his present.
