Paper Jam description | Use the Circle Pad to steer as you slide along the path of Paper Toads. Watch out! If you fall off the path, your attack will fail. Press A to jump over gaps in the rails. At the end of the path, steer Mario and Luigi towards the enemies with the Circle Pad. |
Toad Trail is Mario's final Bros. Attack in Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam. It costs 11 BP, targets multiple foes at once, and is given to Mario once the trio defeats King Bob-omb at the top of Mount Brrr.
Once initiated, Mario takes out the remaining Paper Toads, who form a bridge across the sky. Then, players have to control Mario and Luigi by holding up on the and move left and right to navigate this narrow bridge, pressing to jump over gaps in the path when necessary. Once the bridge runs out, the duo fly off in the form of a wheel, and can be directed towards opponents by moving the .
If the bros. fall off the trail at any point, the attack ends with no damage done. Going slowly gives the player an OK or Good rating, and going quickly causes the bros. to be set on fire and get an Excellent rating after slamming into the enemies, sending them flying.
