Point 'n' Shoot (Seaside Snapshot in the British English version) is a General minigame in Mario Party: Island Tour.

Introduction

Each player steps up to a pair of binoculars.

Gameplay

The players have to take pictures of certain characters around a town that looks similar to the town in Daisy Hills. They must then shoot a picture of one of the three required enemies in order to receive points. After three rounds are over, the player with the most points wins.

Controls

  • Tilt motion control – Aim camera
  • A Button – Take picture

In-game text

  • RulesAmerican English "Please pay attention to your surroundings and be careful when moving your system. Move your system around to find the selected characters and take their pictures. If the gameplay becomes unstable, place the system on a flat surface to recalibrate. You can also press down on +Control Pad at any time to center your view."
  • RulesBritish English "Please be aware of your surroundings while moving your system, and keep a safe distance from other people. Find the selected creatures and be the first to take their pictures.
    Note: Press down on +Control Pad to recalibrate the gyro sensor. If the in-game movements appear to be stilted, place the system somewhere stable and keep it still for a short time."
