- This article is about the mode in Mario Party. For the mode in Mario Party: The Top 100, see Mario Party: The Top 100 § Minigame Island.
Mini-Game Island is a location in Mario Party. It is an island located on the outskirts of Mushroom Village, from which it can be reached using a raft. The goal of the island is to clear all 50 minigames, although the character can reach the end by taking shortcuts. Each minigame has a quota the player must reach; the player starts out with four lives and loses a life every time they fail a minigame. (If they lose a minigame and lose their last life, they receive a Game Over.) Coins are won after each minigame is complete. Collecting 100 coins or completing a minigame for the first time grants the character an extra life unless they have 100 lives. At World 9, Fwoosh can take the character to start if they want.
Spaces[edit]
- Mini-Game Space – When the player enters this space, they get to play a minigame. Blue spaces are un-cleared spaces, and yellow spaces are cleared spaces.
- Koopa Troopa Space – When the player enters this space, they get to talk to the Koopa Troopa and save. Most worlds end with a Koopa Troopa Space.
- Entrance Space – When the player enters this space, they get to go to another area.
- Pink Space – This space cannot be entered and is merely used to move across.

Trivia[edit]
- The exterior map's music adds accompaniment when Worlds 1 and 2 are each completed. The World 4 Cave and the World 6-8 Castle have their own songs, but World 8 (the third floor) has extra accompaniment that does not add to Worlds 6 and 7 (the first and second floors, respectively). After World 9 is accessed after World 8 is completed, the exterior map's music changes drastically.
