Mario & Luigi: Brothership is an upcoming game in the Mario & Luigi series set to be released worldwide for the Nintendo Switch on November 7, 2024. First announced during the Nintendo Direct on June 18, 2024, it is the sixth original installment in the Mario & Luigi series, the eighth installment overall since Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey, and the first original Mario & Luigi game since Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam, released almost nine years prior. It is also the first Mario & Luigi title to be released on a home console, the first game since the original series developer AlphaDream's bankruptcy in 2019, and the first game in the series to utilize Mario and Luigi's new voice actor Kevin Afghani, after Charles Martinet stepped down from the role starting with Super Mario Bros. Wonder.

Plot

Concordia acts as the game's main setting. With Shipshape Island being the main hub, Mario and Luigi will launch themselves out of the Shipshape's cannon to explore distinct new islands. [1]
