Toad balloons,[1] also referred to as Toad coins,[2] appear in New Super Mario Bros. Wii in Enemy Courses. The player has to collect all eight balloons that defeats all enemies and spawns a chest. Opening it reveals a Toad, who rewards the player three Super Mushrooms. Toad balloons appear in every world except World 9, which lacks Enemy Courses.

- Judging from the filename, Toad balloons were intended to be Green Coins.
