Shadow Clones are characters that only appear in the Legends Mode of Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games. Whenever a team is made, their shadows leave their owners' bodies and emerge as purple, shadowy versions of their former owners with light blue glowing eyes. Despite their dark appearances, they are not evil and are simply rivals to the player characters during sport events.
