They can also perform a drift boost by drifting for long enough to gain a red trail behind their snowboard. The course also feature jumps that the player can jump from by swinging the GamePad or Wii Remote upwards at the end of the ramp. The closer the player swings to the end, the further they can jump. The player can also gain a speed boost upon landing by tilting the Wii Remote or GamePad backwards and forwards to angle their character's snowboard so that its angle matches that of the slope. Speed boosts can also be received by hitting the insides of the flags that line the course. The character that completes the course in the fastest time wins the event.
