Hoppycats are green, spiky-shelled creatures resembling snails that appear in Super Mario Bros. Wonder. Similar to Skipsqueaks in Super Mario Maker 2, they attack by jumping when the player(s) also jump. There is also a red log-like lift that shoots out a Hoppycat from the side whenever the player jumps, which can be used to hit blocks.[1]
