Shrooms[1] are large, light-blue Kremlings who appear in Donkey Kong 64. They wear a mushroom costume on their head with a small, rectangular hole for their eyes to peek out.
Shrooms appear in Fungi Forest during the day and are replaced with Koshas at night. Shrooms have a similar attack to Klobbers, as they initially wait in the ground, taking on the appearance of a normal mushroom. However, when a Kong approaches a Shroom, it jumps up and reveals itself. Shrooms try to attack the active Kong by moving after them, attempting to ram the Kong with its mushroom head. Shrooms are weak enemies, and they only get defeated from one hit. A Shroom can also be defeated from afar while under its mushroom disguise if the Kong blasts it with their personal weapon or by throwing an orange.
