Mona's Pets are a group of small animals in the WarioWare series who are often stored inside of her Mona's scooter. Originally, the group consisted solely of Mona's Elephant, Mona's Pig, and Mona's Monkey (previously known as Mona's Chimp), also known as the Yum Yums. However, later games introduced additional members 4.1, 4.2, and Mona's Bear.
History
WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$!
In WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$!, Mona's Elephant, Pig, and Chimp are stored in her scooter. When the Diamond Police chase after Mona because of speeding, she deploys her animals for help. After the hatchway on the back of the scooter opens up, Mona's Elephant is the first animal to be deployed. It fires sludge from its trunk at the police car, causing it to stop momentarily. After another police car begins to chase her, Mona deploys her Pig. The Pig kicks a soccer ball at the police car, stopping it. Mona's Chimp is the last animal she uses when many police cars begin to chase her. After stopping one with a banana peel, the Chimp lowers its visor to more accurately throw its banana peels.
After Mona reaches the Gelateria and dismounts from her scooter, all three animals can be seen cheering outside of the scooter.
WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Party Game$!
In WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Party Game$!, Mona drives to her new workplace at Restaurant Sora Sora and hits a soccer ball with her scooter. The ball flies directly into the chimney of WarioWare, Inc. and hits Wario's television set, which causes Mona's Elephant to appear on its screen. Mona's Pig can also be seen on her scooter when she drives to her new workplace at Restaurant Sora Sora.
Mona's Elephant and Mona's Pig also make a small appearance in Mona's multiplayer mode Listen to the Doctor!. They can be seen on the button prompting the players to clap.
WarioWare: Twisted!
In WarioWare: Twisted!, Mona's employer Pizza Joe deploys the animals directly on Mona's cap when she is pursued by the Dinosaurs. The three animals stand on each other with Mona's Elephant at the bottom, Mona's Pig in the middle, and Mona's Chimp at the top. The Elephant tosses soccer balls using its trunk towards the Pig to let it launch them. This is enough to stop the Dinosaur with a T. Rex on his shoulders, but not the The Dinosaurs' vehicle. However, Mona's Chimp is able to stop it by tripping it with a banana peel. When Mona arrives at the customers' home, the three animals can be seen standing on each other in the same order as before behind Mona.
Mona's Pig wears hi-tech goggles similar to the Chimp this time, although they can only be seen in its large sprite.
WarioWare: Touched!
In WarioWare: Touched!, the Yum Yums appear in small aircraft to help Mona escape the Dinosaurs and rescue Art, but they get knocked away by Vanessa's falcon-like vehicle. 4.1 and 4.2 are called in as backup, and Joe distracts the Dinosaurs long enough for them to come in and use their soccer ball launcher on the Dinosaurs' plane. However, 4.1 and 4.2 are also unable to rescue Art from the Dinosaurs.
WarioWare: Smooth Moves
In WarioWare: Smooth Moves, Mona's Pets only make a minor appearance. In the story of Young Cricket & Master Mantis, the manager Joe, Mona, Art, and Deco serve dumplings. Next to Mona, the Elephant, Pig, and Monkey stand on each other in the same order as their WarioWare: Twisted! appearance. Mona's Bear, making its first appearance, stands on the other side of Mona.
WarioWare: Get It Together!
Mona's Elephant, Pig, and Monkey appear in Mona's story in WarioWare: Get It Together! As Mona leaves in the morning, she bids them goodbye and orders them to "be good" while she is gone; however, they immediately begin trashing her home and she returns that night to a disaster. She proceeds to become very mad at them and forces them to clean up after themselves, only for the same thing to occur the following day.
