The Bat is useful for battling [[Tower Power Pokey]] when it reaches to five segments (including its head), as it would be too difficult and high for Mario to reach it. The Bat can also be placed into the [[Sticker Museum]] as #19, alongside the [[Newspaper]] and [[Toy Bat]]. It also refers to when it was wrapped up in bandages and thrown into a coffin in the Sandshifter Ruins.

Template:Item-infobox Template:Quote2 The Bat (known as the Baseball Bat in the British English version) is a Thing in Paper Mario: Sticker Star. It is first seen in a coffin, wrapped up in bandages in a portion of the Sandshifter Ruins. It remains in Mario's Album until it is turned into a sticker at a Sling-a-Thing station. Once it has been used as a sticker, it returns to its original position. It can also be purchased from the Shady Toad for 300 coins.

As a sticker, the Bat takes up four squares in Mario's album. When it is used in battle, the background disappears and a scoreboard will appear (featuring the D-Cell Battery and Soda things as advertisements, alongside a still image of Mario battling some Goombas), followed by the Bat, which will hit all enemies on the battlefield one at a time. Additionally, if the player mashes A Button as the Bat is about to hit the enemies, they take additional damage.

The Bat is useful for battling Tower Power Pokey when it reaches to five segments (including its head), as it would be too difficult and high for Mario to reach it. A hint for it to be used is before the battle, as instead of the usual "FIGHT!" pre-battle text, it will instead say "PLAY BALL!". If Mario does not use the Bat during the boss, Kersti tells him to use the stickers in a more effective way.

The Bat can also be placed into the Sticker Museum as #19, alongside the Newspaper and Toy Bat. Its description identifies it as a piece of wood that can swing round objects flying when it's used properly, referencing the sport that the Bat is used for. It also refers to when it was wrapped up in bandages and thrown into a coffin in the Sandshifter Ruins.
