History

As enemies

King Coin Coffers are encountered later in the game, starting from World 7, and appear mostly in areas when the player enters a Warp Pipe or climbs a Beanstalk from a Gold Block. Like regular Coin Coffers, King Coin Coffers have very high defenses, and their attacks are very weak in power, but they have more HP than regular Coin Coffers, requiring the player to create a big enough Combo or use certain Skills to pierce through their defenses. They can also use their Skill Run Away to flee from the battle.

When defeated, a King Coin Coffer may drop a Baddie Block of a regular Coin Coffer of the same attribute, or a Lv. 1 Grand Block of itself. Defeating it with a 10+ Combo attack guarantees that it will drop a Grand Block of itself. A King Coin Coffer drops a significant amount of XP and coins, otherwise.

As teammates

As teammates, King Coin Coffers' maximum levels are set to 1 like regular Coin Coffers, and have sub-attributes that match their main attributes. Also like regular Coin Coffers, their stats are very low, having an HP rating of 2/6, an ATK rating of 1/6 and a RCV rating of 1/6. Their Skill, Super Coin Boost, triples the amount of coins that the player earns after completing a single battle. King Coin Coffers use Star Coins and Grand Star Coins to raise their Skill levels.

King Coin Coffers can be created by transforming a regular Coin Coffer with six Super Mushrooms. They provide teammates with an extremely high amount of XP when depowered.

With the digital update to version 2.0, King Coin Coffers also gain an Awoken Skill that raises the team's ATK when clearing a horizontal line of six Orbs that match their attribute.
