Template:Species-infobox Kuro Buta Pokkī are a sub-species of small, black Gale Hawgs from Donkey Kong Jungle Beat. Like their counterparts, Shiro Buta Pokkī, they are generally found in groups, though they have been spotted alone, and are occasionally found with them. Kuro Buta Pokkī are defeated by jumping on them and punching them. By clapping, they can be temporarily stunned. Once defeated, they will leave three bananas.

Kuro Buta Pokkī are found in various parts of the game. They first appeared in the Banana Kingdom's level Dawn Savanna, with one being near the beginning of the level, making them the first enemy to appear in the game.
