Variant of Gale Hawg

Mini Pig Poppos are a small, round-shaped variant of Gale Hawgs from Donkey Kong Jungle Beat. They come in black and white variants, which both have green markings on their body, small feet, red eyes with a black marking, and small tusks.

Mini Pig Poppos are among the weakest enemies and generally appear in groups. They do not directly target Donkey Kong and only move around in a specific area. The black ones can be defeated by jumping on them, but doing that or clapping at a white one causes them to fly off into the air. To finish off a white one, Donkey Kong can leap and punch them in midair back toward the ground; if they are punched into another white Mini Pig Poppo, it will also fly into the air, but punching it into a black Mini Pig Poppo will merely cause it to be stunned as if it were clapped. Defeating them causes three beats to appear.

Mini Pig Poppos are found in various parts of the game. Black ones first appear in the Banana Kingdom's level Dawn Savanna, with one being near the beginning of the level, making them the first enemy to appear in the game. White ones are first found in Desert Oasis, and later appear in Aurora Glacier.
