Template:Kart-infobox The Offroader is a large kart that appears in Mario Kart Wii. It resembles a racing sandrail with bullhorns at the front of the kart and a spare tire on the back.
The Offroader's bike counterpart is the Wario Bike. Its name is "Offroader", but ironically, its off-road performance is only around average. However, it has the best off-road among all of the large karts. Funky Kong's Offroader makes a cameo appearance as a trophy in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U.
Stats
Despite its name, the Offroader is very heavy, as its highest strength is its weight; its Off-Road capabilities are mediocre, which is the highest of all other karts in its class. However, if anyone (except Bowser, Donkey Kong, and Rosalina) uses the Offroader, its off-road stat can exceed average, but still can't drift on normal off-road terrain.
The Offroader also accelerates and handles pretty well for a large vehicle. The vehicle also features near average speed, but has the worst drifting among all karts in the game, and is also the slowest of all large karts. The Offroader has the best acceleration out of all the large karts.

Funky Kong + Offroader | Wii Mario Kart Wii 04/2008 | You may wonder why this kart is called the Offroader when its off-road ability is so average. But a true off-roader is a kart that can take on the world and survive–and this kart fits that description to a tee. It handles like a king, and if other karts try to ram into it, they'll be the ones crying. It just has one big weakness...drifting. |
