Template:Character-infobox Espio the Chameleon is a character from the Sonic the Hedgehog series, and a member of the Team Chaotix, along with Vector the Crocodile, and Charmy Bee.
History
Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games series
He appears in Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games, acting as a referee, alongside many other characters. Espio is the third Sonic the Hedgehog referee, after Cream the Rabbit and Charmy Bee. He retains this role in Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games and Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games. In the latter, he gives the player his costume after they win 12 events.
In Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games, he is the cameraman for record-breaking interviews with the athletes. In Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, he returns as a playable character, his first playable appearance in the series.

He appears in Super Smash Bros. Brawl as a collectible sticker.
