Daphnes are enemies from Kid Icarus: Uprising and the original game. In the original game, they were depicted as once-docile flowers that were corrupted by a dark spirit, and grouped in four to attack. They resemble flowers with a face and can attack by releasing flower-like projectiles that can detonate.
Daphnes also appear in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS as Smash Run enemies. Like in their series of origin, they can release two projectiles that can detonate.

Daphne | These flowery foes from the Kid Icarus series may look adorable, but they'll reveal their repulsive faces and scatter mines everywhere if given the chance. The mines have an impressive blast radius and knock-back. Best to blow them up from a distance. Daphnes themselves have very little health. |
