Template:Species-infobox Koffing is a Poison-type Pokémon introduced in Pokémon Red and Blue / Green Versions. It evolves into Weezing at level 35.
In Super Smash Bros., Koffing appears as a Poké Ball Pokémon. When summoned, it uses Poison Gas, which continuously damages any opponents near it. It also damages any opponents that touch it.
While Koffing does not appear in Super Smash Bros. Melee, it is replaced by its evolution Weezing, which uses the same attack with the same effect.
Koffing reappears as an enemy in Smash Run mode in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS. After inflating itself for a while, it releases Poison Gas, which damages the player while lowering stats. These stats are automatically restored without having to be collected if the Koffing is destroyed.
