The two different colored Beezos.
Beezos are a sub-species of Shy Guy that appear in Super Mario Bros. 2. Armed with tridents, Beezos will fly toward Mario or his friends to attack. There's always more than one in an area, and they won't stop attacking until Mario leaves their territory. To attack, Beezos fly down and move straight towards Mario's position. Since there is an endless supply of Beezos, don't bother throwing Vegetables or other objects to kill them. Mario can't ride them; unless he can match their speed he'll just fall off.

Trivia
- Beezos are found in two colors: red and pink (in newer versions they are pink and brown).
- The Shy Aways of Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars resemble Beezos and may actually be them, as Shy Aways, like Beezos, are insect winged Shy Guys who wield two pronged spears.
- In Luigi's Mansion, Beezos are referenced by Shy Guy ghosts that could levitate and were armed with a pitchfork.
