King Tut's in-game sprite in Mario Pinball Land.

King Tut is one of the bosses from Mario Pinball Land. He appears inside the pyramid in Shifting Sands. He attacked Mario by using his magic pillars to make him smaller and more likely to fall out of the stage. To defeat King Tut, Mario had to run into the pillars to make him mega, and bash King Tut three times while big.

Trivia

  • King Tut is based on the Egyptian pharaoh, Tutankhamun, who is often referred to as "King Tut" himself.
  • King Tut bears a slight resemblance to Tutankoopa from Paper Mario.
  • The music during the fight appears to be a remix of the Culex battle from Super Mario RPG, which in turn is a slight remix of the boss music from Final Fantasy IV.
