Template:Kart-infobox The Rapide (the Zip Zip in North America) is a bike in Mario Kart Wii that can only be used by the medium-sized characters. This bike does not have a kart counterpart for the medium size class. However, its stats are similar to that of the large bike, the Phantom.
The Rapide can be unlocked by winning the 100cc Lightning Cup.
Statistics
The Rapide features great off-road, enabling it take off-road shortcuts without any major speed loss. It also features decent handling. However, unlike the Turbo Blooper and Dolphin Dasher, it is slower than the Standard Kart M and Standard Bike M, but has better mini-turbo. Its weight and drifting are rather low. Compared to the Dolphin Dasher, this bike features higher acceleration, handling, drift, off-road and mini-turbo, but has lower speed and weight.
