Template:Kart-infobox The Flame Flyer is a kart that appears in Mario Kart Wii. It is only used by large-size characters, and its bike counterpart is the Bowser Bike.

This kart appears as a 1969 Pontiac GTO Judge or a 1970 Plymouth Barracuda by having six exhaust pipes; three on each side, and by having the engine sticking out of its hood. The kart also presents flame motifs, which can change their color depending on the character that is chosen.

Stats

Template:Mkwiistat

The Flame Flyer kart shows great speed and weight, along with a good drift and mini-turbo performing. However, it suffers from poor handling and is tied with the Spear in Off-Road, making both have the 2nd worst off-road in the game. Additionally, it has the worst acceleration in the game.

Color Schemes

  • Wario – Purple with yellow and orange flames.
  • Waluigi – Dark Purple with yellow flames.
  • Donkey Kong – Brown with lime-green flames.
  • Bowser – Dark Green with yellow flames.
  • King Boo – Black with pink flames.

Mario Kart Wii Trading Card Description

It's a muscle car revival! Who can deny the awesome presence of a blower popping out of the hood? The Flame Flyer packs very high levels for Speed and Weight, with lower levels for Acceleration and Handling stats.

Trivia

  • The Flame Flyer has the same weight and Mini-Turbo as the Wario Bike. Likewise, it also has the same weight as the Standard Kart L.
  • Despite the fact that the exhaust pipes are located on the sides of the vehicle, when the player gets off to a bad start, the cloud of exhaust still comes out the back of the vehicle.
  • The Flame Flyer has the same speed stat as the Nitrocycle.
