Fungi Forest is an area in Donkey Kong 64. It is, as the name states, full of mushrooms. The stage centers around a giant Cuckoo Clock, which has the ability to change day into night and vice-versa; many areas are only accessible during certain times of the day. Enemies are also effected by time, often becoming more hostle when the sun goes down. Dogadon is fought in a rematch by Chunky Kong here.
Entry to this level requires 50 Golden Bananas.
This level was originally going to be in Banjo-Tooie, however was taken out. Rare, who is very sneaky, put a picture of Fungi Forest in Banjo's Home and the boxart!
