Template:MLinfobox Troopeas are Koopas with sprouts on their heads in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga and are only found in the Beanbean Kingdom. They have dark blue shells and are found mainly in SE Beanbean, near Woohoo Hooniversity. Like most creatures native to Beanbean, they are implied to be legume-based life forms. Troopeas are rather basic enemies, although they can create small water droplets that restore HP in their allies. If Mario or Luigi manages to jump on a Troopea's shell while countering his ramming attack, the shell will be shot toward the other enemies on the battlefield and will damage them.
Later, in Gwarhar Lagoon, a stronger version of Troopea called the Elite Troopea appear. Elite Troopeas can heal defeated monsters, bringing them back with half HP.
There are winged versions of Troopeas, called Paratroopeas. The same goes for Elite Troopeas.
