The 10-Coin Hex is a common type of Hex in Mario Party DS. The player possessing it can choose to place it on any Blue Space or Red Space within five spaces from their current location. When a player lands on it, coins are distributed and the hex is destroyed. If an opponent lands on it, 10 coins will be taken from them and be given to the player or team who placed the hex. If the "owner" lands on it, they will receive 5 coins. This hex can be received in the Hex Area or stolen with a Snag Bag.
