This is just a place for my spicier Mario opinions and isn't meant to attack anyone for not having said opinions. Peace and love, y'know?
- Super Paper Mario is only beloved for its music and story; its gameplay is extremely boring and the worst in the series. Paper Mario: Sticker Star is at least fun at points, and is far more charming in many aspects.
- Speaking of Sticker Star, it may not be a good Paper Mario game, but it's, at the very least, a completely serviceable game. Not a good one, mind you, just... acceptable. 6/10 at best.
- On that note, Color Splash is just straight-up a good game, no ifs ands or buts about it.

- Mario & Luigi: Dream Team did nothing wrong. Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam is on thin ice, though.
- Bobby has more character, personality, and development than any partners from the first three Paper Mario games.
- New Super Mario Bros. Wii is the worst New Super Mario Bros. game. New Super Mario Bros. 2 has the coin gimmick to keep things interesting and New Super Mario Bros. U at least attempts to do something original with its level design; Wii is essentially a microcosm of the "generic" Mario design philosophy that was heavily criticized throughout the Wii U and 3DS era.
- Super Mario All-Stars Limited Edition was a way bigger ripoff than Super Mario 3D All-Stars. While 3D All-Stars at least had the courtesy to update some of the visuals, Limited Edition was literally just a port of the Super NES game that could have easily been put on Virtual Console, being sold full price for a limited time; only for Nintendo to turn around and re-release it as a budget title anyway.
- Mario Kart 64 and Mario Kart Wii aren't nearly as good as people remember, and Mario Kart: Super Circuit is far from the worst Mario Kart game. Wii also has the absolute worst aesthetic of any game in the series, too.
