Battle Course 1 is the first battle course of Mario Kart: Super Circuit. It uses the background from Mario Circuit. Its form is a square, with walls and sand in the middle. It resembles Battle Course 4 from Super Mario Kart, but smaller.
The course reappears in Mario Kart 7 and Mario Kart Tour as a retro battle course. Rocky Wrenches have been added to the course and a small ramp at the center where the sand is. Also, instead of its original background, it has the same background as SNES Mario Circuit 2. In this version, the course uses the Mario Kart Wii arrangement of the Battle Course music.
Mario Kart Tour
GBA Battle Course 1 reappears in Mario Kart Tour in an upcoming tour. It mostly uses its appearance in Mario Kart 7. There is now a moving platform on the side of the course for eliminated players, and Goal Poles appear at the edge of each side.
