Shivering Mountains is an icy mountain range that Wario had to go through in Wario World. The area contained many enemies (most of which were snowmen), deep snowdrifts that Wario could get stuck in, exposing him to enemy's attacks, and many traps and obstacles, including electric barriers! Several large Christmas trees highlight the atmosphere, plus plenty of igloos and enough puzzles to go around. Here, the boss is Winter Windster.
Enemies in this stage include Snowmen, Polar Bears, Snow Bombers, and Ice Ankirons.
Area-Specific Enemies are Freeze Cannons, Fattingtons, and Icicle Mites.
The impediment here is the Angler Mangler.
All of Wario's Treasures in this area are pale-colored and fit the snowy theme of the area.
