Template:More images Template:Item-infobox Rolling logs[1] are a type of wooden platform originating from the New Super Mario Bros. sub-series.
History
New Super Mario Bros.
Rolling logs first appear in New Super Mario Bros. They are cylindrical wooden platforms that, when stood on, will roll over, eventually dropping the player off of them. They only appear in the underground sections of World 6-3.
New Super Mario Bros. Wii
Rolling logs return in New Super Mario Bros. Wii, behaving the same as in New Super Mario Bros., though they are colored slightly differently and now produce creaking noises when stood on. They only appear in World 5-3.
New Super Mario Bros. U / New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe
Rolling logs appear yet again in New Super Mario Bros. U and its remake. Their behavior is largely unchanged from its past appearances, and they appear only in the level Bridge over Poisoned Waters, though they reprise their role in the challenge Poison-Swamp Scramble. Rolling logs are among the few objects that do not return in New Super Luigi U.
