Not to be confused with Tweester or Tornado.

Template:Species-infobox Twisters are placeable wind-producing entities in Super Mario Maker 2. They are small white spheres with eyes, and in the 2D styles, have small hair-like protrusions around their bodies. They spin around along the ground producing a large tornado above them, which can lift both the player and enemies.

In some early shots in trailers, they had a cloudy appearance resembling a Foo with elements of Ty-foo's design, but were redesigned. This resemblance was more accentuated in the New Super Mario Bros. U style, where they lacked the blue cheeks, and had pink lips. This design seems to have been entirely overwritten, as it is not present in the final game's data.[1]
