Template:WWWorld Wonky Circus is the fourth stage of Wario World and the second stage of Spooktastic World. It is a circus-esque level, containing enemies and obstacles of this kind, including large cannons that shoot missiles with clown faces on them, flamethrowers, hordes of enemies, and a minigame that involves throwing bombs at bowling pins. Much of the level is traversed by clinging to and jumping off of moving Glue Globes. The boss of this level is Clown-a-Round. The background of this stage contains posters saying "Wario Circus".

Level layout

Wario starts the level surrounded by some small clowns. To the left is a bridge and a cannon shooting bullets with clown faces on them. At the other side of the bridge are more small clowns as well as some large ones, and there are some platforms in the back where the red treasure button, red Spriteling, and a wooden chest can be found. To the left of here is another bridge with a cannon shooting clown missiles across it, which leads to an area with more clowns. Behind this area are more platforms, where the red treasure, a Gold Statue fragment, and the first trapdoor can be found. Further to left is yet another bridge with a cannon; after crossing it, Wario encounters the first Electric Clown Fence of the level. After destroying it, Wario can proceed north where he'll find three Pigeons and the second trapdoor.

To the left of the trapdoor is a slingshot-like object that Wario can use to fling himself over the gap to the left. However, there is a steel trapdoor in the area below. Entering this area will normally trigger a battle with a blue Gem-Bodied Creature, but the battle can be avoided by hugging the wall. Flinging himself over the gap leads Wario to a ladder going upward. After climbing the ladder, going left leads to the yellow treasure button, while to the right is another slingshot. Going over the jump allows Wario to obtain the Gold Statue fragment hovering over the gap. Above the platform after the gap is a Glue Globe on a stick rotating clockwise. Wario can ride this Glue Globe to reach a high platform on the right with a cannon and the yellow Spriteling. On the left side of the rotating Glue Globe is a hand-shaped platform, which leads to and area with five bowling pins. Bombs will continually respawn in this area, and Wario can use them to destroy the pins. Doing so rewards Wario with coins. There is another rotating Glue Globe to the left of this area, which can be used to reach a high platform with a cannon, where the yellow treasure's spawn point is. Below this platform is a long stone pathway where three Elephants will spawn and attempt to run Wario over. The fourth trapdoor is at the end of this path.

There is a rotating Glue Globe to the left which can be used to reach the platform on the left where the green treasure button is. Below this platform is a Garlic Dispenser. The chartreuse treasure button is to the right, at the end of a narrow path with two cannons. The corresponding chest spawns on a platform above the two cannons. The room to the left has Gatorbabies on the upper level, while the lower level has four Cage Beasts, a wooden chest, and a steel trapdoor. There is a ladder in the back end of this room that leads to a narrow path with two Cobras guarding the way to the green treasure's spawn point. Next to the ladder is a patch that resembles a wooden trapdoor, but does not lead to a sub-level; Ground Pounding it leads to the underground portion of the level. Once entered, Wario cannot backtrack to the above ground portion until he reaches the ByeBye Balloons at the end, unless the player exits the level.

Upon entering the underground portion, Wario will be immediately forced into a battle with a red Gem-Bodied Creature. After defeating it, Wario can proceed to the right where there is a Glue Globe rotating horizontally. This can either lead to a Garlic Dispenser, or the path ahead, where there are two Pigeons. To the right is another Glue Globe, but this one moves back and forth in a semicircle, and there are two flamethrowers near it; Wario must wait for the flames to subside in order to avoid being knocked into Unithorn's Lair. If Wario makes it across successfully, he will find two Gatorbabies and a steel trapdoor.

Above this area is another Glue Globe that moves in a semicircle, but vertically. By jumping off of it at its highest point, Wario can reach the cyan treasure button; however, he must watch out for a flamethrower. Jumping off while it is pointing to the left leads to another moving Glue Globe; this one tilts left and right like a pendulum and leads to area with giant cogs. To the left of the cogs is a clockwise rotating Glue Globe; jumping off to the left leads to another Glue Globe pendulum and the cyan treasure's spawn point, while jumping off at its highest point leads to the blue Spriteling. Punching the cogs causes them to spiral upward, which is necessary to reach the Battle Ring up ahead. After clearing the Battle Ring, Wario can proceed to the right.

In the town area ahead, there are two moving Glue Globes; the one on the left leads to the blue treasure button, and the one on the right leads to either a platform with a cannon and a Gold Statue fragment on it or the way forward. If Wario falls below the Glue Globes, he will end up in an area with two Elephants. He can get back up by climbing two ropes with a wooden chest near them. The way forward has the blue treasure's spawn point on the way, and it leads to a moving Glue Globe attached to a clock tower. From here, Wario can either drop down to a higher ledge or a lower ledge. The lower ledge has the purple treasure button on it. Hitting it causes the chest to spawn on the upper ledge. Wario cannot reach the upper ledge from the lower ledge; instead, he must go to the left, past a cannon and a Cobra, where there is an Electric Clown Fence blocking the way. Destroying it brings Wario back to the area with the Elephants and ropes. On the upper ledge and to the right is a narrow path with two Cobras. The pink treasure button is on the wall behind them. Ahead is another Electric Clown Fence. Beyond it is an area with numerous enemies, and to the far right is a Garlic Dispenser and a trapdoor. Above the enemies is a trio of moving Glue Globes with flamethrowers in between. The one on the left leads to a Gold Statue fragment. The one on the right leads to a steel trapdoor. The pink treasure's spawn point is on a ledge to the right. To the left of the steel trapdoor are the ByeBye Balloons and the goal.

If Wario reenters the level after defeating the boss, there will be a set of ByeBye Balloons at the beginning that will take him to the start of the underground section.

Red diamond sub-levels

# Image Location Description
1 One of Wonky Circus's red diamond sub-levels from Wario World. In a small alcove found after crossing the second wooden bridge near the beginning of the level. This room has two ladders with spiked balls rotating in front of them. There are gaps in between the sets of spiked balls; Wario should use these to climb safely to the second floor of the room, where the red diamond and a Gold Statue fragment await.
2 One of Wonky Circus's red diamond sub-levels from Wario World. Past the first Electric Clown Fence. Both of the ladders in this room are blocked with spiked balls, so Wario must use the Glue Globes hovering around the room to reach the second floor, where there is a wooden chest with garlic in it. Two sets of spiked balls block the path to the other side, where the red diamond is. One of them has a pair of Glue Globes floating over them, which can be used to bypass the spiked balls and access the red diamond.
3 One of Wonky Circus's red diamond sub-levels from Wario World. In the circular pit to the left of the previous trapdoor. This sky sub-level has a ring of rectangular blocks tilting back and forth. Wario must jump across the blocks until he reaches the other side, wait for the blocks to tilt upward, then leap down onto the platform in the middle where the red diamond and Gold Statue fragment are.
4 One of Wonky Circus's red diamond sub-levels from Wario World. At the end of the long stretch where Wario is chased by three Elephants. In order to reach the second floor, Wario must wait for the spiked balls to move away from the ladders, then quickly climb up. There is a Gold Statue fragment on the second floor. The red diamond in the middle can be reached by quickly leaping across one of two Marshmallow Blocks leading to it.
5 One of Wonky Circus's red diamond sub-levels from Wario World. In the bottom-left corner of the circular pit with four Cage Beasts. Three platforms and two pairs of vertically-rotating Glue Globes make up this sky sub-level. The red diamond is on the platform at the end, alongside a wooden chest with garlic in it.
6 One of Wonky Circus's red diamond sub-levels from Wario World. To the right of the second moving Glue Globe in the underground portion of the level, near two Gatorbabies. There is a Glue Globe on a stick that retracts slowly, then juts out quickly. Wario must cling to it, then time a jump correctly to propel himself to the faraway platform where the green Spriteling and red diamond await.
7 One of Wonky Circus's red diamond sub-levels from Wario World. To the far right of the area beyond the final Electric Clown Fence, next to a Garlic Dispenser. At the corner of this room is a Glue Globe moving up and down at a rapid rate. Wario must time jumping off of it to launch himself to the second floor where the purple Spriteling is. There are two vertically rotating platforms floating back and forth across the room; Wario must board one and then stay on it long enough to reach the other side where the red diamond is.
8 One of Wonky Circus's red diamond sub-levels from Wario World. On a high ledge near the goal. This sub-level involves leaping across Marshmallow Blocks and over rings of spiked balls. The red diamond and a Gold Statue fragment are at the end.
