Template:Character-infobox Huey is a character who appears in the Wii U game Paper Mario: Color Splash. He is a floating paint bucket with eyes that change color depending on his emotions. He acts as Mario's partner throughout the adventure much like Kersti from the previous game, though not much else is known about him. Huey's name is a pun on "hue", a term used to describe color.

After Mario whacks him with his hammer, however, he wakes up and gets mad at him for hitting him while he was sleeping, but calms down shortly afterwards.[1] Afterwards, Mario squeezes Huey into paper form and gains the ability to use the Paint Hammer.[2]
Later, in Cherry Lake, Huey introduces the Cutout technique, which allows Mario to use Thing cards to solve puzzles and to cut out clear lines of the background in order to traverse areas if he isn't able to continue.
